CENTERVILLE – Simon Heys was the top county runner Saturday at the Centerville Saturday Night Lights cross country event.

Heys was sixth in the Boys A varsity race, clocking a 16:44.9.

Jacob Whitaker of Clinton-Massie was 20th in the Boys B varsity race, hitting the finish line in 17:30.5.

For the girls, both in the B varsity race, Clinton-Massie’s top runner was AJ Houseman 86th in 22:18.8 and Wilmington’s first finisher was Tristin Vail 115th in 22:59.9.

In the boys open race, Jackson Tofte of Wilmington was 201st in 22:11.8.
