EC tennis posts 4th straight victory

BETHEL – For the second straight night, the East Clinton tennis team defeated Bethel-Tate, this time 5-0 on the Clermont County courts in SBAAC National Division action.

The win is the fourth straight for the Lady Astros, who are now 5-4 on the year.

East Clinton, along with Blanchester, will play in the SBAAC National Division tournament beginning 9 a.m. Wednesday on the Wilmington High School tennis courts.

Shelby Michael notched a win at first singles in three sets and improved to 8-0 on the year, coach Doug Stehlin said.

Sydney Michael at second singles, Carlie Ellis at third singles (by forfeit), first doubles of Haley Harrell and Bella Walters, and second doubles of Jaiden Alloy and Sarah Ross also won for the Lady Astros.
