BLANCHESTER – For the second time this season, the Blanchester eighth grade volleyball team swept Goshen in two sets, 29-27, 25-23, Thursday night.

Madison Creager had seven aces, four kills and a block to lead the young Ladycats, who improved to 8-2 on the season.

Setter Taylor Combs had thee assists, four aces and a kill. Rianna Mueller finished with a pair of aces while Makenna Maddix had an ace and three blocks. Brooklyn Bockstiegel contributed two kills and three blocks. Taylynn Barr had an ace and two blocks, according to coach Amanda Kay.
