Blanchester volleyball flogs Felicity in 3

FELICITY – Blanchester blitzed Felicity-Franklin 25-9, 25-21, 25-6 Tuesday in SBAAC National Division volleyball action.

The Ladycats is 8-9 overall and 5-5 in the National Division. Felicity is now 1-8 in the conference.

“The girls played really well,” BHS coach Jenna Weisflock said. “Our passing was really (strong) which made the rest of the game flow. All 11 girls on the varsity roster contributed to the win.”

Morgan Oberle had 11 kills, seven points, two blocks and 10 perfect passes. Shelbie Rose finished with 23 points, 18 assists and a kill. Asia Baldwin had seven points, eight kills, four blocks and five perfect passes. Cheyenne Brown had 12 points and four kills. Caili Baumann had two points and two kills.

Casey Kingsland had three perfect passes. Ally Davis had eight points, two blocks and three perfect passes. Audrey Heitzman had seven points an assist and three kills. Kassidy Abney chipped in with two points and two perfect passes. Holly Scott contributed two good passes and Kelli Hoffman had one perfect pass.
