National leaders finish unbeaten after win over Blanchester

BLANCHESTER – SBAAC National Division leader Bethel-Tate defeated Blanchester 8-0 in boys soccer action Tuesday at Barbour Memorial Field.

It was Senior Night at BHS and Noah Armocida, Brant Bandow, Nevan Coyle, Topher Farrow and Jacob Fischer were honored for their contributions to the program. Coach Troy Ballinger said the seniors have helped compile a 37-19-6 record over the past four seasons.

With two games remaining on the regular season schedule, Ballinger said the seniors can add to what is already a school record win total over a four-year span.

Blanchester is 7-6 overall and 5-4 in the division. Bethel-Tate has completed its National Division schedule with a perfect 10-0 record. The Tigers are 12-2 overall.
