CINCINNATI – The Blanchester High School tennis team dropped its regular season finale 4-1 Tuesday to West Clermont in a non-league match at WCHS.
The lone win came at first doubles where Alexis Vestal and Korie White posted a 6-2, 6-0 victory.
“First doubles were relaxed and having fun,” BHS coach Matt Sexton said. “When they do that, they can play high-level doubles.”
The loss puts the Ladycats at 9-5 on the year.
“This was a very good match to wrap up the regular season,” Sexton said. “West Clermont has a very solid team and we hung right in there with them. We’ve always had a great relationship with the schools (Glen Este and Amelia) that formed West Clermont. It was great to help them celebrate Senior Night.”
