SPRINGFIELD – The Wilmington High School boys golf team finished its season Tuesday in the Div. I Springfield District tournament at Reid Park Golf Course.

Wilmington was 13th with a 409 team score.

Individually, Hunter DeWeese paced the Hurricane with a 95 (44-51) on the 18-hole layout.

Derrick Cope (49-55) and Drew Carey (49-55) both shot 104 for WHS while Dylan Combs (54-52) and Cameron Smart (52-54) both had 106s.

Alex Flick of Beavercreek was the tournament medalist with a 73.

The four district qualifying teams are Beavercreek (311), Bellefontaine (328), Troy (335) and Xenia (353).
