ROB girls win Legacy Christian cross country meet

XENIA – Wilmington’s Rodger O. Borror Middle School girls cross country team won the Legacy Christian Ambassador Classic cross country meet Saturday morning.

The young Lady Hurricane had 54 points and clipped runnerup Beavercreek by two points.

The ROB duo of Sophie Huffman (13:34.8) and Taylor Noszka (13:52.9) went 2-3 in the meet to lead the team to the race title.

East Clinton did not have a full team. Kenton Deaton was the first Lady Astro to finish, placing 55th in 17:02.5.
