BATAVIA – The Clinton-Massie junior varsity volleyball team defeated Batavia 25-17, 25-11 Tuesday night in a SBAAC American Division match.

The Lady Falcons started slow but finished strong, head coach Aubrey Hoffman said. Abbey Faucett and Delaney Miller had good matches at the service line, Hoffman noted. Miller also played well at the net, the coach added.

Courtney Fisher “stepped up and did a great job passing,” Hoffman said.

Faucett had 17 points, four aces, three kills and six digs. Miller finished with 11 points, six aces, six kills, three digs and a block. Fisher chipped in with two points, a kill and seven digs.

Carly Moritz had two points, five kills and seven digs. Abby George recorded two digs and Kennedy Thompson posted two aces and 14 assists.
