WILLIAMSBURG – Blanchester surrendered a goal with two minutes remaining in the match Thursday and settled for a 1-1 tie with Williamsburg in SBAAC National Division action.

The tie puts Blanchester at 7-7-1 on the season. Tournament play begins Tuesday when BHS travels to Georgetown.

Blanchester led 1-0 on a goal by Nevan Coyle, with an assist to Topher Farrow.

Despite taking 30 shots, Blanchester was held to one goal, coach Troy Ballinger said.
