The Blanchester Junior High School football teams won a pair of games Wednesday over Bethel-Tate and Lebanon.
The eighth grade improved to 5-1-1 with a 46-6 win over Bethel-Tate.
Nate Bates had a 33-yard touchdown pass to Jesse Wright to break a 6-6 tie and start a 40-0 Blanchester run.
Bates finished with 82 yards passing and two touchdowns, and 75 yards rushing. James Peters had 192 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
Christian Stubbs had 110 total yards and three scores on offense, and a team-best 12 tackles and an interception on defense.
Kadin Berwanger had a rushing touchdown and two interceptions. Gage Daniels and Kaleb Goodin both caught two-point conversion passes.
The seventh grade is now 6-1 following a 36-0 win over the Lebanon B team.
Brayden Sipple had 92 yards passing, a passing touchdown and two rushing touchdowns.
Trenton Czaika had a touchdown receiving. Brody Rice caught a two-point conversion pass from Sipple and threw a touchdown to teammate Blake Richard, who finished with 123 total yards and a pair of scores. Colt Conover caught the conversion pass from Rice.
On defense, Richard led the way with 15 tackles. Gage Huston had 10 tackles and was in on three quarterback sacks. Gabe Peters had eight tackles, Brady Phillips six and Conover six. Sipple had an interception.
