TIFFIN — The Wilmington College women’s indoor track and field team earned 11 top-10 finishes Saturday at the Tiffin Alumni Open in the season’s first meet.

Kelly Rice was third in the mile run in 6:07.39. Sarah Pierce was eighth in the mile in 7:06.2.

In the 3,000-meter run, Allison Helmke was fourth in 12:17.09 and Summer Doty placed fifth in 12:35.59.

Blanchester High School graduate Mckenzie Hamm was fifth in the 800-meter run in 2:46.93 while Pierce finished seventh in 3:20.64.

Emma Burke was 10th in the 500-meter run in 1:28.92 and 10th in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.8 seconds.

The WC “A” team in the 4×400-meter relay was seventh in 4:43.73 while the “B” team eighth in 4:50.42.

Lauren Stacy, in the weight throw, was eighth with a toss of 15.55 meters.
