Massie boys stay unbeaten in American Division

The Clinton-Massie boys bowling team remained unbeaten in SBAAC American Division action with a win Monday over Western Brown at Royal Z Lanes.

The Lady Falcons (2-5 overall, 2-2 SBAAC) were defeated by the Lady Broncos 1,346 to 1,187.

Emily Rager led Clinton-Massie with a 263 (144, 119) and “continues to improve at each match,” coach Shonda Marburger said.

Jennifer Callewaert had 234 (97, 137), Ashley Murphy bowled 232 (120, 112) and Ashley Gross had 227 (134, 93).

The baker games for the CM girls were 77, 89 and 65.

In the boys match, Clinton-Massie (6-1 overall, 4-0 SBAAC) finished with 2,400 while Western Brown had 2,130.

Corey Potts led the way with a 410 series (198 and 212). Luke Campbell bowled one game and posted his varsity best score of 202.

Chandler Morsch had 203 and 205 while Joey Marburger came in with 224 and 169. Jacob Wellman had 198 and 174. Massie had a sub in the first game and finished with 91.

Baker games were 170, 199 and 155.
