The Blanchester seventh and eighth grade girls basketball teams were defeated by Goshen Monday night.
The eighth grade was defeated 27-10.
Taylor Combs had a three-pointer and a free throw, while Madison Creager had a basket and two free throws. Daelyn Staehling had a couple of free throws for Blanchester.
In the seventh grade game, Goshen prevailed 25-15.
Kaidyn Hamm had five points to lead Blanchester while Braylee Stanforth chipped in with four. Olivia Potts finished with three points and Emily Koch had two points. Hailey Mulvihill had a free throw.
Coach Gary Stanforth said he was pleased with his squad’s defensive effort.
