29-0 run lifts Blanchester JV boys in opener

BLANCHESTER — A 29-0 run propelled Blanchester’s reserve boys basketball team to a 46-29 win over Reading Tuesday night at Blanchester High School.

After being penalized for a pregame dunk with a technical foul, Blanchester found itself down 2-0 before the clock started running. Blanchester scored 35 of the next 37 points.

Cole Feirl led BHS with 10 points. Tanner Creager added nine points.

Hunter Bare had seven points. Chantz Dalton and Brent Hopkins each had six points. Jasper Damewood scored four points. Jay Ashcraft and Kalib Goodin each had two points.
