VANDALIA – Wilmington finished 14th Thursday at the Greater Miami Valley Wrestling Association Holiday Tournament at the Butler Student Activity Center.

Isaac Allen, at 160 pounds, was the lone Hurricane wrestler to place in the event. He was seventh overall.

Allen opened with a pin and then a 16-0 technical fall. He was knocked into the consolation bracket by Daulton Mayer of Walton-Verona (Ky.) by pin in 1:26. Allen then decisioned Kellen Grainger of Hilliard Bradley 4-1 before losing to Leeth of Mohawk 11-0. In the seventh place match, Allen pinned Seth Hodapp of Eaton in 4:54.
