Wilmington’s Rodger O. Borror Middle School seventh grade boys basketball team defeated Williamsburg 59-30 Tuesday afternoon.

The win improves the young Hurricane to 7-0.

The Borror squad outscored the Wildcats by 18 in the third period to break the game open, coach Ken Platt said.

Elias Lewis led the Hurricane with 20 points.

Grayson Thompson, Josh Snell, Luke Blessing, Zane Miller and Adrien Cody had six points each. Blaize Johnson added four and Tanner Killen chipped in with three. Keenan Milliner tossed in two points.
