BLANCHESTER — Blanchester’s Trenton Czaika made a 50-foot shot as time expired Tuesday to give the Wildcat freshmen a stunning 38-35 win over Batavia.

Batavia had just tied the game at 35 with a pair of free throws with just seconds remaining. The Wildcats inbounded the ball to Czaika, who buried the shot from beyond half court to win the game. Czaika led BHS with 13 points.

Logan Heitzman added 10 points for Blan. Kyle Hopkins scored five points. Colton Wilson added three points. Bryce Highlander and Hunter Hartman each had two points.
