BLANCHESTER – The Blanchester junior varsity girls basketball team was defeated by Clermont Northeastern 28-18 Thursday night.

Blanchester (3-10 on the year) was outscored 14-0 in the third quarter. The two teams were tied 11-11 at halftime.

Ashlin Benne and Holly Scott scored six points each to lead Blanchester.

Lana Roy tossed in four points for the Ladycats and Becca Kratzer rounded out the scoring with two points.
