CMMS runners wrap up season

YELLOW SPRINGS — The Clinton-Massie Middle School cross country teams closed their season Monday at the Yellow Springs Invitational at Young’s Dairy.

“I really enjoyed coaching this group,” said CM coach Dean Richardson. “These five runners were new to cross country and they worked hard and improved a lot over the season.”

For the girls, Lilly Lentine was 17th out 113 runners in 13:53 and Emma Muterspaw ran a personal best 13:53 and finished 18th.

On the boys side, JT Goings was 81st in a personal best 15:43. Alex Shelton ran 20:25.
