The Blanchester eighth grade girls basketball team stopped its three-game losing streak Wednesday with a 29-18 win over Clinton-Massie.
Coach Gary Stanforth of BHS said his squad played well defensively and played a “tireless offense for the entire game.”
Emma Winemiller had 10 points, two rebounds, two steals and an assist for Blanchester.
Grace Irwin had seven points, a rebound, two assists and two steals. Madison Creager had four points and grabbed three rebounds. Daelyn Staehling contributed two points, seven rebounds and an assist. Aleah Wells had a steal.
Lacie Tedrick had two points, five rebounds, an assist and a steal. Dallas Allen had two points and a steal. Emmy Hodge chipped in with two points, two rebounds and a steal. Taylor Combs had two rebounds, an assist and two steals.
