ADAMS TOWNSHIP – The cross county matchup between the junior varsity East Clinton Lady Astros and the Clinton-Massie Lady Falcons came down to the wire Monday night at the Clinton Massie gym.

Clinton Massie won the game 33-31, but was pressured at the end as East Clinton was given a chance off the inbound with 3.2 seconds left to go.

Patience Chowning led the Falcons with 18 points while both Abbey Faucett and Natalie Lay had four points. Carly Moritz, Holland Jaramillo and Avery Cranmer scored two points each. Miranda Crawford rounded out the scoring with a fourth quarter free throw.

Gracie McCarren led the Astros with nine points, Alexis Rolfe had eight and Katrina Bowman had four. Kaitlyn Talbott and Gracie Boggs scored three points each. Gracie Evanshine added two points while Rhylee Luttrell and Miranda Beener scored one point each.
