The Blanchester seventh grade boys basketball team was defeated by Mount Orab 59-16 Thursday in the regular season finale.

Kyle Garrett had seven points and Dylan Walker scored three.

Zach West, Dustin Trace and Gabe Faulkner had two points each. Garrett and West had four rebounds each as did Jayden Purdy.

Blanchester will play Mount Orab 6:15 p.m. Monday at Western Brown High School in the opening round of the SBAAC tournament.
