Freshman Rams rock ’Cats 20-0

HAMILTON — The Blanchester freshman football team was defeated by Badin 20-0 Thursday afternoon.

The Wildcats will end the season 5 p.m. Wednesday at Glen Este.

Blanchester opened with a defensive turnover but was unable to turn that into points. The Rams stopped the Wildcats on several fourth down plays in the game, BHS coach Bryan Howard said.

Dustin Howard of BHS was 2-for-5 passing with 37 yards and an interception. Howard had 62 yards rushing.

Also, Dale Sturgill had 45 yards on the ground while Ramiro Torres had 30 yards on the ground and Cole Feirl added five.

On defense, Derrick Bowman and Austin Walker had four tackles each.
