WC men drop third OAC lacrosse match

WILMINGTON – The Wilmington College men’s lacrosse team was defeated by Ohio Northern 22-4 Wednesday at Townsend Field.

Ohio Northern came out firing on all cylinders early in the game during the first quarter. The Polar Bears went up 7-1 with the lone Wilmington goal coming from Jhordan Lang. The second quarter was a similar outcome for the Quakers allowing six more goals. The Polar Bears led 13-1 at the half.

In the fourth quarter, WC goals were scored by Lang, Mike Smith, and Connor Judge. Wilmington could not stop the Ohio Northern offense in the second half as the Polar Bears scored nine goals en route to a 22-4 victory.

Wilmington (3-6, 0-3) will continue conference play at John Carroll University 1 p.m. Saturday.
