East Clinton overpowers Clermont NE 13-3

LEES CREEK – East Clinton scored six runs in the fifth inning and overpowered Clermont Northeastern 13-3 Tuesday in SBAAC National Division softball action.

Alyssa Stoops, Makayla Smith and Taylor Boeckmann had three hits each. Smith homered in the first inning.

Jericka Boggs also homered for the Lady Astros.

Sierra Christian picked up the pitching victory with an efficient three-hitter. She struck out just one but did not walk a batter.
