Falcons edge Bulldogs in SBAAC tennis

ADAMS TOWNSHIP – Sweeping the singles matches, the Clinton-Massie tennis team defeated Batavia 3-2 Tuesday in SBAAC American Division action on the CM courts.

The Falcons are now 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the American.

Clayton Amburgy won in straight sets to up his season record to 4-0.

Zack Hammonds and Austin Faucett both rallied for victories in their singles matches, coach Rod Amburgy said.

“I was very excited to see them fight back to win,” he said. “The whole team is wanting to get better and talking about how to improve.”
