BETHEL – With a pair of three-set wins at second singles and first doubles, the Blanchester tennis team defeated Bethel-Tate 4-1 Tuesday in SBAAC National Division play.
“The match, like last night, could have gone either way,” BHS coach Scott Shepard said. “The doubles victories were huge and somewhat unexpected against very talented opponents.”
Hunter Miller had a gruelling 7-5, 5-7, 7-5 win at second singles while Jordan Stroud and Tanner Kellerman outlasted their opponents at first doubles, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.
Blanchester is 3-1 overall and 3-0 in the National Division.
