Massie tennis ends week with 4-1 win over East Clinton

ADAMS TOWNSHIP – Clinton-Massie ended its week with a 4-1 win Friday over East Clinton in non-league tennis action on the CM courts.

The Falcons are 5-6 on the year.

Clayton Amburgy, the Clinton-Massie No. 1 singles player, maintained his unblemished record this season with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Alex Pence. Amburgy is 11-0.

Austin Faucett, the CM No. 3 singles player, lost last week to East Clinton but won this time around, coach Rod Amburgy said.

The lone EC win came with the first doubles team of John Cline and Hayden Pirman who posted a 7-5, 6-1 win.
