TIFFIN – The Wilmington College softball team concluded Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play with a pair of losses at Heidelberg University Saturday, falling 3-2 in game one and 8-0 in six innings in game two.
Wilmington (13-19) concludes its OAC series with a 4-14 record.
In the opener, Beth Persicano pitched well but took the loss.
Jillia Cook and KenDahl Bowles drove in runs for Wilmington. Bowles’ RBI-double gave Wilmington a 2-1 lead in the fifth.
Both Cook and Bowles had two hits each for WC. Sawyer Hooper had two hits and scored a run.
In the second game, Ali Dixon, Alecia Kemp, Bailey Sweeney and Sawyer Hooper had hits for Wilmington.
