WILMINGTON – Garrett Hickey game Wilmington the lead for good Monday in a 5-4 win over Xenia in lacrosse action at Alumni Field.

Wilmington trailed 3-1 but scored goals late in the first half to tie the match at 3-3.

“We battled back from an early deficit to take the lead late on a Garrett Hickey goal,” WHS coach Adam Shultz said.

Bricen Cook had two goals for the Hurricane, now 6-6 on the year.

In addition to Cook and Hickey, Wilmington goals were scored by Craig Schiff and Logan Frazier.
