HILLSBORO – The Wilmington High School track and field teams split a meet with Hillsboro Tuesday in Highland County.
The Lady Hurricane were victorious 94-52 while the Hurricane boys came up short 84-69.
Sylena Baltazar won a pair of events for the WHS girls, hitting the line first in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. Hannah Joeckel was first in both hurdle events for WHS.
Rory Bell won two events for WHS, the 1,600-meter run and the 3,200-meter run. Dorian Taylor won the high jump and the 200-meter dash for the Hurricane.
