East Clinton hosted its 3rd annual Wrestling/Football Combo Camp June 5-7.

Athletes get three hours of wrestling in the morning with varsity coach Doug Stehlin and staff, take a one-hour lunch break and then football for three hours in the afternoon with varsity coach Jeremy Yankey and staff.

“Coach Yankey and I have been working together promoting both sports because the two sports go hand and hand and we know the more athletes we can get participating in both sports, the more successful our programs will be,” Stehlin said.

In all, 23 athletes participated in the wrestling camp then 19 continued with the football portion of the camp. Athletes who signed up for both camps were treated to pizza for lunch.
