CINCINNATI – The Clinton-Massie Middle School golf team won its first match of the season Monday against Madeira, 171 to 172 at the Tri-County Golf Ranch.

The match was shortened by rain, with most players completing six holes, Clinton-Massie coach Clayton Morgan said.

Clinton-Massie’s Jonathan Rombarger was match medalist with a 36.

Trayden Schumaker had a 42 and Camden Morgan carded a 43. Alex Lazic shot a 50.

Morgan said the golf team has 14 players in the program this season.
