SPRINGBORO — The Clinton-Massie reserve girls bowling team was defeated by Springboro 1,141 to 1,003 Monday in a non-league match at Eastern Lanes.

“Although the JV girls lost, they still showed huge improvement,” said Marburger. “All four of these girls are newcomers and as the season continues, we will see their averages rise. Brittany Fry and Rachel Cochran bowled well above their averages.”

Fry finished with 253 (108 and 145 games) while Cochran had 243 (106 and 137 games). Ashley Murphy had games of 100 and 87 and Jennifer Callewaert had games of 58 and 66.

In the Baker Games, Massie finished with scores of 126 and 70.
