CEDARVILLE – Simon Heys was fifth out of 764 runners Saturday at the Friendship Invitational Div. I boys cross country race at Cedarville University’s Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.

Heys ran 16:39.3 and trailed race winner Lucas Houk of Huber Heights Wayne by 23 seconds.

As a team, the Hurricane finished 22nd overall.

On the girls side, Sophia Agee was the first Lady Hurricane runners to cross the finish line. She was 166th out of 388 in 25:28.5.
