Madison-Plains takes match from East Clinton

LONDON – The East Clinton volleyball team was defeated by Madison-Plains 25-20, 17-25, 11-25, 18-25 in a non-league match.

“We played really well the first game,” EC coach Sarah Sodini said. “Everything came together. We made a few errors early on in the second and things unraveled from there. We need to focus on finishing the way we start.”

Kenzie Campbell had an ace, five kills, a block and 12 digs. Kait Durbin finished with seven kills and 18 digs. Rhylee Luttrell had two aces and six digs. Kiya Byrd contributed with an ace, seven kills, a block and four digs.

Emma Malone chipped in with six digs and Megan Stewart had five kills and one assist. Myah Jones had an ace, four blocks, five kills, six digs and 13 assists. Katrina Bowman had an ace, a kill, two assists and four digs. Lacey Peterman had three aces, eight assists and nine digs.
