Ladycats win wild one with Lady Mustangs

BLANCHESTER – The Blanchester volleyball team won a wild battle with Lynchburg-Clay Thursday night, 25-20, 23-25, 25-18, 11-25, 15-7, in a non-league match at the BHS gym.

“The girls have had a long, hard week and I’m proud of how hard they fought to pull off the win,” Blanchester head coach Jenna Weisflock said.

Kassidy Abney “really stepped it up” in the match with four kills, six perfect passes and 15 service points, Weisflock said.

Holly Scott had a dig, 15 points, 17 assists and a block. Madison Creager finished with eight perfect passes, 16 points and a kill. Molly Campbell totaled two digs and a perfect pass.

Ally Davis had eight perfect passes, 15 points and four kills. Caili Baumann had four points, eight kills and five blocks at the net. Kelli Hoffman had seven perfect passes, 14 points and two kills.
