CENTERVILLE – Wilmington, East Clinton and Clinton-Massie competed Saturday in the Centerville Saturday Night Lights IX cross country meet here at CHS.

The county teams competed in difference divisions.

Emma Muterspaw of Clinton-Massie was the top local runner in the High School Girls Varsity A race. She was 43rd out of 395 runners with a time of 20:41.

Wilmington’s Sophia Agee ran a 23:55.2 and was 286th in the Varsity A race.

In the High School Girls Open II race, East Clinton’s Carah Antek led the locals with a run of 22:37.3. She was 57th overall.

Izzy Coomer of Wilmington was 194th in the race with a time of 25:35.

Clinton-Massie had the lone county runner in the middle school race. Alivia Hull was 129th with a time of 17:48.1 in the seventh grade girls event.
