Clinton-Massie overwhelms Wilmington

ADAMS TOWNSHIP – The Clinton-Massie volleyball team blitzed Wilmington 25-18, 25-17, 25-6 Wednesday night in SBAAC American Division action at the Lebanon Road gym.

The Lady Falcons are now 10-2 overall and 5-1 in league play.

CM coach Stephanie Reveal said several members of the “amazing staff” at Clinton-Massie were honored at the match. The staff members make “a difference in the daily life of the girls.”

Reveal said she had to shuffle her lineup because of injury and the team’s play “was a little off in set one and set two wasn’t pretty.” However, both were Clinton-Massie victories.

“We stopped communicating and just weren’t gelling as a team,” Reveal said. “Coming off a big win Monday, I was worried how we would play. We always play sluggish at home.”

Haley Conley had seven points, three kills, four digs and 28 assists. Rylee Richardson contributed 15 points, two aces, eight kills, four digs and three blocks. Delany Miller had seven points, an ace, two kills and eight digs. Taylor Florea chipped in with three points, four kills and four digs.
