Blanchester volleyball holds off Bethel-Tate in 3

The Blanchester volleyball team held off Bethel-Tate Thursday 26-24, 25-17, 25-21 in a hard-fought SBAAC National Division battle.

“The girls really played hard and with a lot of heart and passion,” BHS coach Jenna Weisflock said. “They really came to play.”

Holly Scott had six assists, a perfect pass and 11 service points. Madison Creager finished with a kill, eight digs and 19 points. She had four aces. Morgan Oberle had an assist, three kills, seven blocks, two digs and 12 points. Molly Campbell chipped in with one point.

Kassidy Abney contributed a dig, eight perfect passes, 14 points and three aces. Ally Davis had two kills, a dig and nine points. Caili Baumann had 11 kills, two blocks and a dig. Kelli Hoffman finished with three perfect passes and four points.
