GOSHEN – After winning the opening set, Clinton-Massie dropped three in a row and lost to Goshen 25-16, 24-26 6-25, 20-25 Thursday in an SBAAC American Division showdown of the top two teams.

“We came out strong and did all the little things right,” CM coach Stephanie Reveal said. “(In set two) we had a couple of critical points of the set. We had some questionable calls. Set three the adrenaline was gone and the week had caught up to us. But (in) set four we bounced back, just came up short.”

The win puts the Lady Warriors at 8-0 in the American Division while Clinton-Massie falls to 6-2. Goshen defeated Clinton-Massie in both matches this season.

“We have played a lot of volleyball the last four days,” Reveal said. “Our legs were shot and we were short arming some of our swings. Goshen is tough. Kudos to their team.”

The Lady Falcons also participate early Thursday morning in the Brake For Breakfast event at the Foster Boyd Cancer Center.
