GOSHEN – The Wilmington High School girls soccer team was defeated by Goshen 1-0 Tuesday in SBAAC American Division play at Jim Brown Stadium.

The league win was the first for the Lady Warriors since 2011.

“Tonight was a tough loss,” WHS coach Alex Rhinehart said. “Goshen scored on a play that knocked two of our players out of the game.”

Rhinehart said his squad played hard in the loss.

“We produced lots of attacking opportunities but we couldn’t finish,” he said.

Rhinehart said Wilmington freshman Maddie Hisco enter the game for injured starter Karlie Morgan and did not allow a goal.
