NORTH BEND – The Blanchester boys soccer team was defeated by Taylor Saturday 7-0 in non-league action on the west side of Cincinnati.

Blanchester goalkeeper Gavin Colebank tied a record with 26 saves in goal.

The loss finishes the Wildcats regular season with a 4-11-1 record.

The Yellow Jackets led 3-0 at halftime.

“With injuries and illness affecting Blanchester’s bench, the field players were worn (out) and couldn’t keep up the same intensity in the second half,” BHS coach Troy Ballinger said.
