BW volleyball strong at net in sweep of WC

BEREA – Baldwin Wallace University played well at the net in a straight-set victory over the Wilmington College volleyball team 25-9, 25-19, 25-9 in Ohio Athletic Conference Saturday afternoon.

Karrah Wind and Jillian Wesco led Wilmington with five kills each while Jacie Koontz and Summer Wilbur combined to dish out 16 assists. Karley Schlensker tallied 12 digs while Meghan Koch bolstered the Quakers’ front row defensively with four block assists.

Wilmington (7-19, 0-7 OAC) hosts Capital University in the final home match of the season Tuesday. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
