BHS cross country seasons end at district

WEST CHESTER – The Blanchester cross country season ended Saturday at Division II district meets at Voice of America Park.

Olivia Gundler was the lone BHS girls to run in the Div. II-A race. With three teams and the top 12 individuals advancing, Gundler placed 22nd with a time of 22:07.99, a few ticks off her SBAAC National Division winning time from a week ago.

On the boys side, the Wildcats had a solid showing, placing fourth as a team. However, the top three teams and top 12 individuals advanced to the regional.

Tyler Holland was the first BHS runner to cross the line, placing 16th in 18:01.48. Sean Holland was right on his heels, placing 17th in 18:01.57.

At 22nd, Ricky Davis clocked 18:29.74. Nick Musselman was 38th in 19:45.64. Adam Bockhorst was 52nd in 22:14.71. Matthew O’Neill was 68th in 32:35.57.
