CM’s Muterspaw continues season as final individual

CEDARVILLE – Clinton-Massie sophomore Emma Muterspaw qualified for the Division II Southwest Regional cross country meet this Saturday at Troy’s Hobart Arena.

At this past Saturday’s Division II district meet at Cedarville University’s Elvin R. King CC Course, Muterspaw was 28th overall in 20:53.36. The top 28 individuals and top seven teams advanced to the regional. Muterspaw was the final individual.

AJ Houseman also ran for the Lady Falcons and placed 81st in 23:01.33.

On the boys side, 28 individuals and seven teams advanced. Logan Fisher was the top CM runner with a 105th place finish. His time was 20:02.41.

Luke Lentine was 111th in 20:18.55 and Aiden Wallace was 118th in 20:35.23. Bryce Hensley ran 20:49.01 and finished 123rd. A trio of Falcons finished 139th-141st – Colin McDowell 21:38.98, Seth Goodall 21:41.83 and Brennen Swope 21:44.78.

As a team, the Clinton-Massie boys were 19th overall.
