LEES CREEK — Outscoring Miami Trace 10-2 in the first quarter, the East Clinton reserve boys basketball team cruised to a 38-21 win Tuesday in South Central Ohio League basketball action at the EC gym.

Brendan Jenkins led the young Astros with 9 points while Griffin Irvin added 8.

Alex Pence had 5 points while Cameron Conner, Dylan Michael and Jacob Olds had 4 points each. Logan Kelly and Austin Hanners scored 2 points each.

For Miami Trace, Tiante Connell had 6 points, Matt Fender scored 5 and Dakota Bolton had 4. Heath Cockerill, Ian Herbert and Adam Ginn scored 2 points each.
