WHS bowlers drop pair to Xenia

BEAVERCREEK — The Wilmington High School boys and girls bowling teams lost a pair of matches Thursday to Xenia in non-league action at Beaver-Vu Lanes.

“I am seeing a lot of improvement but would like to see some more consistency,” WHS coach Joe Davis said.

The varsity boys were led by Ryan Hottinger who had games of 207 and 187, but WHS lost to Xenia by 23 pins.

Tristan Reiley had a 380 series, with a high game of 228. Sawyer Kratzer also had a 380 series.

On the girls varsity side, Wilmington was led by Mason Noland who had a high game of 189 and the high series of 319. Katie Hottinger had a 298 series for WHS.

The boys reserve squad was victorious by 79 pins. JT Croghan had a 330 series (172, 158) while Andrew Thompson had a high single game of 165.
