The East Clinton Junior High School boys basketball teams were defeated in games Monday by Mount Orab.

The seventh grade was defeated 43-24. Denver Day led EC with 11 points. Austin Kmatz tossed in five points. Maddix Crowe and Kale Boeckmann had four points each. Hayden Beiting rounded out the scoring with two points.

The eighth grade Astros were defeated Mount Orab 51-26. Isaiah Conger paced the offense with 11 points and Dakota Collom added eight. Dalton McClure and Dylan Day had three points each. Colten Haffner made a free throw.
